What formal qualification do I need?

A master’s degree (graduating in 2015, 2016 or 2017). No more than two years of work experience after graduation. Study background within Business, Marketing, IT, Finance, Management or similar.

I have not finished my degree yet, can I apply?

Yes, as long as you plan to graduate no later than September 1st 2017.

What should I focus on in my application?

Explain why you want to work at Falck and why we should choose you.

What should I attach with my application?

Please attach your CV, cover letter, your grade transcript from your master’s degree and/or diploma from you master’s degree and any other documents you find relevant.

What should I attach, if I have not yet completed my degree?

The only difference in this case, is that we do not expect you to upload your diploma. Instead, please attach an overview of your latest exam marks, and then proceed with all other material listed above.

Which languages are required?

Fluency in English is a prerequisite. Additionally, it is an advantage if you speak at least one other language fluently. It is not a requirement that you speak one of the Scandinavian languages.

In which language should I write my application?

We accept applications only In English.

When will I get a response to my application?

We will close for applications on February the 2nd. You may expect a response by the end of February.

What does the recruitment process entail?

First you apply with your CV, grades and diploma in our online system. After having reviewed all applicants, selected candidates will be invited to do a 1-minute video in February. We expect a short and simple video to get to know you better. The last step in the recruitment process is the Falck & Furious Assessment Day, where 24 candidates will be invited. The Assessment Day is on April 5th 2017.

Will Falck help me with visa application?

Falck does not offer visa sponsorships. If you wish to apply for the Falckoner Programme, we will expect you to take care of the visa work permit yourself.

I am not living in Denmark. Can I still apply?

As long as you are willing to relocate to Copenhagen for the first 8 months and can be here on the Falck & Furious Assessment day you are very welcome to apply. Please note that while we will aim to help you with getting settled we are not able to provide you with living arrangements in Copenhagen.

I cannot be there on the Falck & Furious assessment days. Can I still apply?

The Falck & Furious assessment day is an intensive testing of your skills and personality both individually and in a group. It is an opportunity for us to get to know you personally. We need you to participate to be properly assessed together with your fellow future Falckoners. Therefore, it is mandatory that you are able to participate. In case you cannot be there we unfortunately cannot accept your application.

What is the Falck & Furious Assessment day and what is going to happen there?

Assessment centres are usually one day events where you are exposed to different challenges and asked to work both individually and in a group with other applicants to solve several tasks. We would like you to bring your best attitude and your sharpest skills and have fun while taking part in a friendly competition. We will invite 24 of the finest candidates who are going to be presented with case studies teambuilding activities while they will also have the chance to talk to us individually.

How many candidates can get in?

In 2017 we are recruiting 6 talented graduates to be the next round of Falckoners.

If I get in when do I start?

The Falckoners start on the 1st of September 2017. That means you have the whole summer for yourself.

Is the Falckoner Programme paid?

The Falckoner Programme is a full time, paid fresh graduate programme.

What departments/job positions would I go through?

The Falckoner Graduate Programme is highly flexible and not working along predefined tracks. We believe that we can get the best result by building on your competences so we are not defining any departments or job positions before we get to know you. It will all be decided based on the combination of your personality and expertise, and our business needs. A good example is if you have an education in international business we might place you in Business development or the Strategy Office where you can use your knowledge but also broaden the perspective.

Does Falck pay for my relocation abroad during the programme?

We pay for your relocation as an expat in the second and third rotation. For the first rotation you have to cover the cost yourself if you have to relocate to Denmark. We will help you find a place to live and give you support throughout your stay in Copenhagen.

What if I do not want to relocate to a new country in my second module?

One of our main aims with the Falckoner Programme is to have an internationally mobile workforce. Considering that it is mandatory for all Falckoners to spend their second module abroad.

What countries can I go to?

Falck is in 44 countries around the world. Where you go will depend on where we see a match between your qualities and a countries need.

What happens if I do not want to come back to Denmark after my second module?

It is only mandatory for you to spend your first module in Copenhagen. If you wish to specialize out of Denmark we will aim to provide you with the possibility in consideration with our business needs.

I am specialized in XYZ. I would like to take that specialization in the third module. Can I do that at Falck?

We are offering specialization in several business fields related our business. The personal cases however will be decided upon personal competences and expertise. Please note that we are unlikely to be able to provide highly technical specialization. Am I guaranteed a job when I finish the programme?

After the two years, we expect that your skills and experiences will qualify you for a full time job at Falck. There is no job guarantee, but due to our investment in the Falckoner Programme, we obviously wish to find a job match.
