My tips for writing a great application for the Falckoner programme
My name is Rasmus Villadsen and I am currently on my first rotation in Falck Healthcare. Soon I will write a post on what I have been working on so far but for today I would like to give a few tips on what I belive should be your focus in the application writing process.
I am by no means an expert in writing applications, however, I have had some experience in doing it and I have a good understanding of what Falck is looking for in a graduate. So I hope you can use these tips as something to consider, but do not see it as the definitive truth.
- Research, research, research!
There is no such thing as being overprepared. Make sure that you understand the values Falck stands for and that you can see yourself becoming a part of them as they are an important part of our identity.
Falck has grown significantly in recent years and the business model has become far more complex. Therefore, the time spend on researching how the current Falck looks like will be time well spent.
- What are you bringing to the table?
Your research will help you to describe and understand what challenges you are able to solve at Falck. Therefore, it will show what your profile can bring into the company and how that will help us reach our mission statement.
- Don’t be sloppy!
Spend some time on formatting the application and checking (and double checking) for spelling mistakes and wording. The recruiters have a very limited timeframe to screen the applications and you do not want to be rejected because of basic grammar mistakes. So make sure that your material is presented in a professional way, something which will also be demanded of you if you are hired by Falck.
I hope this will be useful for you and best of luck with your application for the Falckoner programme.
